Secondary Glazing

A listed coach house and all the windows have had bespoke secondary glazing fitted to make this a much cosier house

Old houses can be draughty! Many home owners want to upgrade their stained glass windows whilst not losing the ‘look’ or they have a listed building so the windows have to stay. What can we do to provide the increase in amenity, some of the benefits of primary double glazing and reduce your heating bills?

We have a glazing system for stained glass and leaded lights that requires no framework, is almost invisible in place, and provides not only safety and security but an increased amenity as well. This has been approved for use in listed buildings but is always treated on a ‘case by case’ basis. We use no permanent fixings into the frames and we do not use screws etc that would damage the frames, if you were to remove our system in the future there would be no evidence that it had been fitted
We have problems providing photographs because it is very difficult to see when it is fitted (one of the major advantages of our system).
